Terms of Use General
These Terms of Use govern your use of the website “uniindia.com” (“website”) and all such online services provided by United News of India (“UNI”) through its website and unless other terms and conditions expressly govern, any other electronic / online services provided by UNI that may be available from time to time (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Services"). The term “you” or “your”, being used interchangeably, refers to the user or viewer of the website/services.

Agreement
By using the website you are agreeing to comply and be bound by these Terms of Use as also all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms of Use, please do not use the Services. UNI reserves the right to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these Terms of Use at any time. Please check this page periodically for any changes or modifications to these Terms of Use. Your use of any of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

Ownership
The content includes articles, other text, photographs, images, illustrations, graphics, video material, audio material, including musical compositions and sound recordings, logos, works of authorship, proprietary software, data, reports, information, images, sound, organization, graphics, design, compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement and assembly of all Content) and other matters related to the website or in relation to the Services and other material owned by UNI and/or its third party content providers ("Third Party Content Providers"), if applicable. All other trademarks, service marks, trade dress, product names, company names or logos, whether registered or not, on the Website are the property of UNI or their respective owners.

Rights
The Content is protected by international copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of the Content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You do not acquire ownership rights to any content, document or other materials viewed through the Site. The posting of information or materials on the Site does not constitute a waiver of any right in such information and materials. Some of the content on the site is the copyrighted work of third party content Providers.

Third Party Content
UNI does not knowingly accept unsolicited submissions including, without limitation, submissions of scripts, story lines, articles, fan fiction, characters, drawings, information, suggestions, ideas or concepts. UNI’s policy is to simply delete any such submission without reading it or forwarding it to other UNI staff. Therefore, any similarity between an unsolicited submission and any elements in any UNI creative work including, without limitation, a film, series, story, title or concept would be purely coincidental. Third party content may appear on the website or may be accessible via links from the website. UNI is not responsible for and assume no liability for any mistakes, misstatements, defamation, omissions, falsehood, obscenity, or profanity in the statements, opinions, representations or any other form of content on the website. You understand that the information and opinions in the third party content represent solely the thoughts of the author / third party content provider and is neither endorsed by nor does it necessarily reflect UNI’S policy.

Errors, Corrections and Changes
UNI does not represent or warrant that the Site will be error-free, free of viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. UNI does not represent or warrant that the information available on or through the website will be correct, accurate, timely or otherwise reliable. UNI may make changes to the features, functionality or content of the website at any time. We reserve the right in our sole discretion to edit or delete any documents, information or other content appearing on the website.

PERMISSIBLE USE
You may use the Website or the Services only for your internal, personal, non-commercial purposes provided in each case that you must retain all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices contained in the original Content on any copy you make of the Content. UNI does not warrant or represent that your use of Content, Services or any other materials displayed on the website will not infringe rights of third parties. The use of the Content on any other web site or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited except as specified in these Terms of Use. Each Third Party Content Provider is a beneficiary hereunder to the extent necessary to enforce its proprietary rights in their Content.

If you violate any of provision of this Terms of Use Agreement, your permission to use the website and the services automatically terminates and you must immediately destroy any copies you have made of the Content.

Restrictions and Prohibitions on Use
Your access and use of the website/services and any content therein are subject to the following restrictions and prohibitions on use. You may not:

UNI is not responsible for the content, accuracy or opinions express in such sites, and such sites are not investigated, monitored or checked for accuracy or completeness by UNI. Inclusion of any linked site on UNI’s website does not imply approval or endorsement of the linked site by UNI. If you decide to leave the website and access such third-party sites, you do so at your own risk.

Advertisements/Third Party Service Providers
The Website may contain advertisements and/or sponsorships. You understand that Advertisers and sponsors are solely responsible for ensuring that any content or material submitted for inclusion on the website is accurate and complies with applicable laws. UNI is not responsible for the illegality or any error, inaccuracy or problem in the advertiser's or sponsor's materials. UNI may allow access to or advertise certain third-party product or service providers (“Third Party Service Providers”) to provide certain services (“links”) on the website. You understand that UNI does not operate or control the products or services offered by such service providers. Under no circumstances is UNI will be held liable for any damages arising from the transactions between you and such Third Party Service Providers/links or for any information appearing on Third Party Service Providers’ websites or any other site linked to UNI’s website. All rules, policies (including privacy policies) and operating procedures of such third Party Service Providers will apply to you while accessing any such Links. UNI is not responsible for information provided by you to such Third Party Service Providers/Links. You understand that UNI and such Third Party Service Providers are independent contractors and neither party has authority to make any representations or commitments on behalf of the other.

Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold UNI, its partners, agents, officers, directors, employees, subcontractors, successors, assigns, third party suppliers of information and documents, advertisers, product and service providers, and affiliates (collectively, “Affiliated Parties”) harmless from any liability, loss, claim and expense related to your violation of this Agreement or use of the website including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of: the information or material you submit, including, but not limited to, liability for violations of copyrights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, or any other intellectual property rights, or the privacy or publicity rights of others, or liability for information or material you provide that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, hateful or embarrassing to any other person or entity, or is fraudulent or deceptive, your use or unauthorized copying or use of the Services or any of their content, or (iii) your violation of these Terms of Use or any applicable laws or regulations.

Limitation of Liability
For information obtained from Third Party Content Providers, you are solely responsible for compliance with copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights and restrictions and are referred to publication data appearing in bibliographic citations, as well as to the copyright notices appearing in the original publications. The Subscriber’s use and browsing of the Site is at the Subscriber’s risk. If the Subscriber is dissatisfied with any of the Materials contained in the Site, or with any of these Terms of Service, the Subscriber’s sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue accessing and using the Site. While UNI does its best to ensure the optimal performance of the Site, the Subscriber agrees that the Subscriber uses this Site and relies on material contained in this Site at his own risk. IN NO EVENT SHALL UNI, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, SHAREHOLDERS, PARENTS, SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATES, AGENTS AND LICENSORS, OR CONTENT PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE, INABILITY TO USE, PERFORMANCE OR NONPERFORMANCE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF UNI WAS PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES AND REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARISE IN CONTRACT, TORT, UNDER STATUTE, IN EQUITY, AT LAW, OR OTHERWISE. UNI and any Affiliated Party shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim, liability, or damage of any kind resulting in any way from:
(1) any errors in or omissions from the website or any services or products obtainable therefrom,
(2) the unavailability or interruption of the website or any features thereof,
(3) your use of the Site,
(4) the content contained on the Site, or
(5) any delay or failure in performance beyond the control of a Covered Party.

Monitoring
UNI shall have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of UNI, to determine compliance with this Agreement and any operating rules established by UNI and to satisfy any law, regulation or authorized government request. UNI shall have the right in its sole discretion to edit, refuse to post or remove any material submitted to or posted on UNI. Without limiting the foregoing, UNI shall have the right to remove any material that UNI, in its sole discretion, finds to be in violation of the provisions hereof or otherwise objectionable.

Copyrights
UNI respects the rights of all copyright holders and in this regard, UNI has adopted and implemented a policy that provides for the termination in appropriate circumstances of subscribers and account holders who infringe the rights of copyright holders. If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide UNI the following information:
1) A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;

2) Identification of the copyright work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online website are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works at that site;

3) Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;

4) Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact the complaining party;

5) A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and

6) A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed. Legal Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable domestic and international laws, statutes, ordinances and regulations regarding your use of the Website and the Content and Materials provided therein.

Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India and the Courts at Delhi shall have the exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of the Terms of Use, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of laws.

Termination
You agree that UNI, in its sole discretion, may terminate your access to the website / services, and remove and discard any content that you have posted on the website, for any reason, including, without limitation, for lack of use or if UNI, in its sole opinion, believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the Terms of Use of this Agreement or that you are a repeat infringer of intellectual property rights. You agree that any termination of your access to the Website under any provision of this Agreement may be effected without prior notice, and acknowledge and agree that UNI may immediately bar any further access the website. Further, you agree that UNI shall not be liable to you or any third-party for any termination of your access to the Website.
